We got registered!

What a blast! The boys joined us for a fun trip to Target (my absolute favorite store!) to put together a baby registry. We hadn't done any type of registry in quite some time, so we were kinda out of sorts at the beginning but boy did it come back quickly and we probably kinda got out of control:) You should have seen Taylor's eyes light up when he saw the handheld scanner gun and he wanted THAT job! He gave me a little bit of an anxiety attack as he (and Brayden) were off walking down the aisle saying"what about this mom?" over and over and over again, while Lance and I were trying to concentrate on what exactly we "needed" but also trying to keep track of WHERE the scanner gun was! After they (the boys) understood that we would go down every aisle carefully and we would get to what they were looking at eventually, things finally calmed down. But I think that they were SO excited to pick things out for Hayleigh - they knew for sure that she would love their thing and wanted to be the "first" to find it! :) After we scanned everything in sight of basic necessities, they wanted to pick out clothes for her. They were so, so insistent that they really wanted to pick out clothes - I finally gave in. I made a guess of a size for August timeframe and let them scan away:) - I figured that we could update it later with correct sizes once we know more information:):) I just couldn't burst their bubble - it was such a joy to see the boys so excited about their little sister - it is such an answer to our prayer that God has given us - that the boys would love her, accept her, be excited about her and want her as much as we do. We will be putting a link to our registry in the "links" section:)

Travel Meeting

After 4 hours of meeting with our Agency Director, we now have a little bit better understanding of what our trip to China is going to be like. We still don'tknow what Province we will get our daughter from - we hope to find out soon! But, We now have several lists of what we need to bring! We are hoping to visit Beijing & The Great Wall before we meet our daughter - we can't pass up the opportunity of being so close to it. The ideal scenario is to get her on a Monday (after we go sight seeing). We then have to stay 5 business days in her Province before we can go to GuangZhou. GuangZhou is the Province where ALL adoptive families get final approval to leave China. We will be there about 5 days too...
