Miracle Needed :)

Well, our agency just called this morning to let us know that we are probably not going to be included in the next batch of referrals which are due out next week. We are sad about the delay but know that it is God's timing - but we can still pray for a miracle that we will be included:):)LOL

I am so thankful that she (Kathy Storro)called today because we were just starting to REALLY get our hopes up! Now we will just sit back, try to relax, enjoy and plan another summer month:)

Yard Sale

Well... the yard sale was pretty successful we raised about $300 and sold just a few bracelets! Lance has started making some very nice disciples crosses (i'll post a pic later...) and he sold a few of those too!

Now we are just trying to clean up the mess and get ready for our referral:):) Keep praying for a June referral:)

Busy, Busy...

It's a busy week at the Vickerman's - we are cleaning out closets, attics, sheds etc in preparation for our yard sale on Sat. June 11th. The boys are planning on selling bracelets and refreshments...

I've been checking out rumors on the internet to see what's a buzz - people are predicting that hopefully before or right after Father's Day the next batch of referrals will come out. We are still very unsure if we will be included in that batch. The last 2 groups/months had a cut off date of 10/20 and then 11/24, for this month we are praying that they will include ALL of December (our LID date is 12/24).

Other Vickerman Happenings: Taylor and Brayden are in the school talent show singing "Take me out to the Ball Game!"6/10 at 9am; I've started my new appraisal support services job; Lance & Taylor have started the All Star Tourney team season; and we are still watching the Scherbarth kids during the day:)
